ASTM A194 Grade 8 Nuts

ASTM A194 Grade 8M grade is a wide specialty grade of carbon, alloy, and stainless steel nuts developed as highly demanding materials because of either high pressure or high temperature service. These nuts are produced as per the ASTM Standard to maintain the same quality and performance. They are usually in compliance with the American National Standard Heavy Hex Series (ANSI B 18.2.2). A UNC Series Class 2B fit is necessary in smaller sizes (up to and including 1 inch nominal). Nominal sizes larger than 1 inch can either have a UNC Series Class 2B fit or 8 UNC Series Class 2B fit.
