ASTM A106 Grade B Pipe, SA 106 Gr B Seamless Pressure Pipe & A106 Gr.B Carbon Steel Pipe Supplier, Stockist and Exporter in Mumbai, India

Jade Alloys is a direct manufacturer, stockist and exporter of Carbon Steel ASTM A106 Grade B Pipe the benchmark specification for seamless carbon steel pipe in high-temperature service. ASTM A106 / ASME SA106 covers three grades (A, B and C), of which A106 Gr B pipe is by far the most widely specified, offering a minimum tensile strength of 60,000 psi (415 MPa) and a minimum yield strength of 35,000 psi (240 MPa).
ASTM A106 Gr.B material is the default choice wherever pressurised fluids, steam or hot gases are conveyed at elevated temperature: refinery process lines, boiler and superheater circuits, power plant piping, petrochemical units and oil & gas transmission. Its chemistry is closely aligned with ASTM A53 Grade B and API 5L Grade B, but A106 is manufactured seamlessly and is qualified for high-temperature service which is why engineers specify A106 Grade B seamless pipe where A53 or API 5L would not be accepted.
We stock A106 Gr B pipe from 1/2″ NB to 48″ NB in SCH 20 through SCH 160, XS and XXS, in seamless, ERW, LSAW and EFSW construction. Each length ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill certification, full heat-number traceability and, where required, NACE MR0175, HIC and IBR documentation. Coated and lined options — FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, galvanised and CRA clad are supplied to project specification.

The practical difference: A106 and A53 share near-identical chemistry and strength. A106 is produced seamless only and is written for high-temperature service; A53 permits welded construction and is generally specified for lower-temperature mechanical and general pressure duty. Where the line runs hot, A106 Gr B is the correct call. Below −29 °C, switch to ASTM A333 Grade 6.
