About Hex Flange Nuts
Hex Flange Nuts are special fasteners which have a hexagonal body and a built in flange on one end and is used as a washer inbuilt. This flange allows the load pressure to be evenly distributed even to a larger surface and prevents loosening and ensures that the mating surface is not damaged. The hex flange nuts are much faster and efficient to install since a separate washer is not required.
These nuts are one-way fasteners, which are designed to be installed in one direction only so that they may function well when they are locked. We make them in different styles at Jade Alloys; the flange can be either plain or serrated. The serrated hex flange nuts are stronger in grip and vibration withstanding characteristics and therefore can be used in high-stress applications.
