About J Bolts
J Bolts are headless anchor fasteners with a bent profile shaped like the letter “J”, primarily used for anchoring pipes, columns, and structural members into concrete or foundations. The open hook design provides reliable anchorage while allowing partial flexibility during installation.
J anchor bolts are commonly installed using two hex nuts on either side of the supporting structure or directly embedded into concrete. These fasteners are also known as bent hook bolts, J hook bolts, or anchor J bolts.
J bolt dimensions are available in both metric and imperial sizes with Unified National Coarse (UNC), Unified National Fine (UNF), Unified (UN), and ISO metric thread profiles. They are manufactured across a wide range of material categories and ASTM specifications to suit structural, industrial, and construction applications.
