About Lifting Eye Nuts
Lifting Eye Nuts are specialized, high-strength hook nuts featuring a looped head designed for lifting heavy objects, rigging, and securing loads. These are often called lifting eye, eye nuts or forged eye nuts, and are designed to secure tensile loads in application when eye bolts or threaded rods are used, in combination with a compatible eye nut.
The lifting eye nuts are produced with alloy steel, carbon steel and stainless steel with high tensile strength, durability and corrosiveness. Eye nuts are made either by hot or cold forging process depending on load requirements and application standards that give them an excellent material integrity and load-bearing capacity.
Lifting eye nut is offered in both imperial and metric sizes with UNC or UNF and UN as well as ISO metric threads. These nuts are manufactured in a wide range of material types and can be used in different ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO, BS and IS standards thus are applicable in industrial lifting, building, marine, and heavy engineering operations.
