About U Bolts
U Bolts are headless fasteners with a U- or C-shaped bent profile, primarily used for anchoring pipes, tubes, and round or square sections. Compared to J bolts, U bolts offer greater holding strength due to their dual-leg design, making them suitable for structural and pipe support applications.
U anchor bolts are typically installed using four hex nuts—two on each threaded leg—or fitted into pre-tapped holes. Also known as bent U bolts or U hook bolts, these fasteners are manufactured in metric and imperial sizes with UNC, UNF, UN, and ISO metric thread profiles. U bolts are produced across carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and other material grades in compliance with ASTM specifications
