In addition to molybdenum, Zirconium 702 Flat Bars also contains a number of other elements in varying concentrations. The maximum temperature of Zirconium 702 Square Bars for scaling resistance in continuous services is about 1650 Deg F, and 1500 Deg F for intermittent service. High temperature resistance is also compounded by its titanium content, which allows Zirconium 702 Threaded Bars to be immune to precipitation at these temperatures. Zirconium 702 Hollow Bars is the preferred steel for use in marine environments because of its greater resistance to pitting corrosion than other grades of steel. The use of Zirconium 702 Hexagonal Bars is recommended when exposure in the carbide precipitation range is unavoidable and where annealing after welding is not practical. Not unexpectedly, general corrosion resistance and other properties of Zirconium 702 Triangular Bars closely correspond, which is molybdenum-alloyed steel and is the second most common austenite steel. Zirconium 702 Bars is titanium stabilised version of molybdenum-bearing austenitic steel, which contains a small amount, typically only 0.5 percent of titanium. Zirconium 702 Rods is suitable for welding because it has carbon content lower to avoid carbide precipitation in welding applications. Zr702 Round Bars provide immunity to intergranular attack in the as-welded condition or with short periods of exposure in the temperature range of 800 Deg F to 1500 Deg F.
