SA179 Welded Tubes is one of the most widely used super alloys, because of its resistance to high temperatures and stress in severely corrosive environments. SA179 EFW Tubes are manufactured in accordance with national and international product standards, while we can also produce fittings as per specific specifications of our customers. In case of custom size fabricated SA179 ERW Tubes, the welding is done and carried out by qualified personnel. This specification covers wrought SA179 Round Tubes of construction for use in pressure piping and pressure vessel service at low temperatures. SA179 Square Tubes shall consist of forgings with filler metal added, and shall be produced by open-hearth, basic oxygen, or electric-furnace process. Forging or shaping operations of SA179 Rectangular Tubes shall be performed by one or a combination of two or more of the following procedures. SA179 Electropolish Tubes is used in procedures such as hammering, pressing, piercing, extruding, upsetting, rolling, bending, fusion welding, machining, or by a combination of two or more of these operations. All welding for SA179 Hexagonal Tubes shall be completed prior to the austenitizing heat treatment, which shall be executed in the normalised and tempered, annealed, or quenched and tempered conditions.
