The duplex 2205 fasteners are usually made of an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel that makes it stronger compared to other fasteners. It’s made up of different components such as 22 percent chromium, 5 percent nickel, and 3 percent molybdenum with a minimum tensile strength of 620 MPa and yield strength of 450 MPa. These fasteners are fabricated through cold forming, hot forging, machining and precision threading operations, depending upon the design of fasteners. They have a PREN of about 35, which corresponds to resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion. Jade Alloys produces the Duplex 2205 Fasteners in India such as Bolts, Nuts, Studs, Threaded Rods, Screws and washers, all with material traceability and testing documentation for challenging industrial applications.
