Monel 400 Fasteners are competing nickel-copper alloy parts that have been produced using UNS N04400 (Werkstoff No. 2.4360), which offer a high degree of mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance to seawater, chloride environments and a large number of corrosive media. This alloy is a solid solution alloy and cannot be hardened by conventional heat treatment, the mechanical properties required are achieved by suitable cold working. Monel 400 fasteners can be used in demanding marine and process equipment with useful mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures up to around 480°C. Bolts, nuts, studs, screws and washers produced to suitable ASTM specifications are available. Jade Alloys is a manufacturer and supplier of Monel 400 Fasteners in India supplying precision-machined products with material traceability and EN 10204 3.1 inspection document for industrial applications.
